Over the last two years we’ve seen big growth in live-streaming of events in and around Bonn. Two years ago we were struggling to explain what a live-stream was but in 2017 it’s become more of a discussion around the advantages of live-streaming. Next year we expect to be talking about brand protection, social network integration and risk-reduction which is why we’ve just completed details of a partnership which will greatly expand our live-stream offering, not only in Bonn, but across Germany. We are really happy to be announcing an official partnership with the company MultiBC, also based in Bonn.
What we’re announcing today is the immediate availability of business-level streaming options for unbranded full-HD productions streaming through two private data centers in Germany.
Our live streaming portfolio now expands to offer the following services
- White-label streaming with no risk of unwanted advertising.
- Bonded multi-provider LTE for high-availability mobility and fallback
- Two Germany-located data centers
- Simulcast cloud re-streaming (and re-encoding) to YouTube, Facebook and other existing platforms. (Only one stream needed from location.)
- Customer control interface
- Private embedded HTML5 player
- Password protected access
- Real-time conferencing
- Intranet solutions for streaming inside corporate networks.
- Advertising options
- Experienced camera team available if needed
- Paywall option
- Vastly expanded equipment availability
We’re also excited about working together on new IP-based production options and a new self-management streaming product that we’re preparing for sports clubs in 2018. You’ll hear more about that in 2018.
Martin Bals of MultiBC:
At multiBC were very happy to further build the cooperation with HiBlue. Our partnership enables us to combine the strengths of our companies and to realize new ideas. Live-streaming and video-on-demand is currently the biggest growth market in the IT and Media sector. MultiBC is already a multi-talented player in the streaming market but HiBlue strengthens us well in social media, marketing, IP networking, live production, 360 live streaming and studio broadcasting. Together our target in 2018 is to build our product range for business customers in the areas of Internet streaming and special interest streaming with paid-for content. [Translation]
